Selena Gomez Gossip: Maybe the weight of her tumultuous relationship with Justin Bieber is too much for her to handle.

Selena Gomez looked upset and dishevelled as she arrived at an airport in Los Angeles late Saturday night.

Wearing a camouflage jacket, grey scarf and matching black pants and boots, the flustered starlet frantically checked her phone as she tuned out the world with her green headphones.

The 20-year-old actress walked with the assistance of a friend as her loosely tousled brown hair flew about her face in the frenzy.

Selena has been spending her holiday travelling alone after reportedly suffering a massive blow up with her 18-year-old Canadian beau on a Christmas break.

Taking to her Twitter on Saturday, Selena shared a photograph of herself with a lone, undecorated Christmas tree in a snowy field.

Wearing a puffy long black coat and a large scarf and glasses, the Year Without Rain singer stood by the tree with the photo captioned 'Thanks for listening, bet you understand.'

The young star may be referencing her latest spat with on-again, off-again boyfriend Bieber, whom she had a massive argument with while on holiday in Mexico.

The bust up was said to be so big that the pair left the hot spot before ringing in 2013 and according to the New York Daily News Selena left on December 30, with Justin jetting out of the resort the following day.

Seems kind of weird to us, no? He’s a little boy….Michael liked….oh well, screw it — it’s no good if you have to explain it.

He may not know exactly what’s happening with his on-again off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez, but if that doesn’t work out, he will be buff for the ladies who are about to line up to take her place. He said that he has been hitting the gym more than usual just so that he can bulk up to impress chicks.

He said in a new interview, “I’ve been working out in the gym, getting bigger, trying to get sexy for the ladies.”

He also cited the King of Pop as his inspiration and says that he hopes to be just as successful as Michael was. He revealed, “I model my career on the decisions Michael made and how he kept his young fan base and kept his private life private. All those things add up to me. That made him super interesting.”

Yes, Michael was totally interesting, until his child molestation trial and the times he covered his children’s faces with masks. Justin’s manager Scooter Braun also said that despite Justin’s gobs upon gobs of money, he doesn’t care about that. In fact, he said that Justin’s prized possession is an autographed photo of Michael Jackson. He said, “Justin is not attached to material things at all. He has a signed picture of Michael Jackson and that’s the only thing he cares about losing.”

He has also said that he is super competitive and is determined to be more than just a teen heartthrob. He added, “I don’t just want to be a teen heartthrob. Now I’m at the top, there’s only one way to go and it’s down. That gives me the motivation to stay on top and keep pushing. I grew up with a really competitive side, playing sports — basketball, hockey and soccer. I don’t want to be second best, third best, fourth best. I want to be the best. That takes a lot of dedication and hard work. You gotta have plans.”

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s Ruined Reconciliation

On Friday, the “Beauty and a Beat” singer and his 20-year-old flame headed into Yamato restaurant in Encino, California for what appeared to be a reconciliation dinner (November 16). Justin looked very casual in a gray tank-top, black harem pants, bright pink sneakers, and a black baseball cap, while his former gal wore a white top, black scarf, and blue jeans.

Unfortunately, a few minutes after entering, the two hurried back out to the parking lot and left in separate cars.

After about 10 minutes, The Biebs showed up at Selena’s house, but was denied entry at the gate and became visibly upset. Despite the attempt, it seems the two just weren’t meant to be.

On Friday night, the 18-year-old star tweeted, “things arent always easy. there is alot of pressure. im figuring it all out. im trying. but i care, i notice, i still hear u. #Beliebers.”
