Celebrity News: The irony wasn't lost on fans when Kim Kardashian last year signed on to appear in Tyler Perry's new film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
Hot on the heels of ending one of Hollywood's shortest marriages, the reality TV queen plays social-climber Ava, a preened business woman who loves figure-hugging dresses and lambastes her co-workers for not meeting her standards of style and beauty.
A newly-released trailer for the comedy proves the role isn't much of a stretch for the star.
Her voice narrates the top of the two-and-a-half minute clip.
'We have a billion dollars walking in and out of these offices looking for love.'
The scene opens from a sweeping cityscape to the sprawling offices where Kim's character rips into marriage counsellor Judith, played by Jurnee Smollett.
'You have a standard to uphold. That blouse,' she miffs. 'It's telling it all.'
Not to be undone by her image-obsessed colleague, Judith questions Ava's cotton candy pink dress - not unlike the ones Kim is so often seen pouring herself into on her day-to-day outings.
'What's wrong with my dress?' she squeaks, eyes glazed, head tilted in confusion.
